The met:space community at Old Broadcasting House has a large conference space, café area and numerous conference and training room facilities available to residents. With space to accommodate events with up to one hundred attendees and equipped with several digital projection screens, flat-panel displays, PA systems and the latest A/V and presentation equipment; any event format is practical here.

Women on the Web
Forward Ladies caused thought provoking ideas of how effectively to use the web as a creative and innovative office space that enables communication opportunities for business.

Sixty women with an evening of wine, food and networking. Sarah Blow challenged women by identifying the barriers of entering a career in the creative and multimedia industries.

Apple Launch Party & Adobe Campus Tour
nti Leeds held a launch party for its new programme of training courses, augmented by the installation of Apple’s latest iMac, Mac Pro and XServe technology. It is now the largest Apple training centre in the North of England.

BarCamp Leeds (2007)
Leeds’ first grassroots ‘unconference’-where the programme is created and delivered by the attendees - took place in November, with over 100 participants. The event brought together people from creative, digital and entrepreneurial fields and was sponsored by Rockstar Games, Plus.net, Green Communications, Yuuguu and Sun Microsystems.
