Our IT Resources
As a coworking member at Old Broadcasting House will have access to some of the latest and greatest IT resources to help you maximise your output. The workspaces themselves are organised into twelve generously spaced work 'Pods', equipped with desk, chair, side table and additional chairs, a Mac Pro computer, and an Apple 30″ studio display. Two pods have dual 30" studio displays which tends to be of special interest to designers working with video resources.

Our software facilities have access to the industry standard packages including the Adobe Master Collection, Apple Pro creative software (Logic, Motion, Aperture, Final Cut) and 3D Studio MAX. All machines run OSX, and three dual boot into the Windows XP environment should you require that facility.
Our wired networking infrastructure operates using gigabit ethernet, with most machines using fiber as their medium of choice. Members also have the ability to use account-specific server space, protected by their unique credentials. We recognise that our coworkers may choose to bring their own equipment into the space, so we also maintain a private WiFi hotspot which covers the entire premises.

A range of class-leading hardware and peripherals are available for our members to rent, both short and long-term. These include dual boot Macbooks, netbooks, MIDI keyboards, headphones, Wacom tablets, Final Cut & Logic keyboards, projectors, a rear projection display, tripods, microphones and speakers. Black & white printing facilities are available free of charge whilst colour, fax, photocopying and 3D printing are all available for modest charges.
