How much does it cost to become a member?

From 1st August 2012 the monthly fee for new members is £100 plus VAT per calendar month. We ask for the first month's fee in advance, and a future payments by standing order. We ask for one month's notice of leaving.

What does the fee cover?

This fee covers access to wired and wireless broadband, a user id for the network, 'hot desking', free coffee, black and white printing, and meeting space. This fee doesnt provide a dedicated desk, as all members use the open shared area. Unlike many coworking spaces, we dont specifiy a maximum number of hours. Our members use the space between one and three days a week. although if you're considerng becoming a member you'll recognise that your use of the space will vary from time to time, depending on what you're working on.

Is there disabled access to the building?
Yes. There is a wheelchair lift located at the front entrance of the building, and also a lift that can be used round the side. Disabled parking is also available outside.

How does the postal service work?
You can use the above address to receive incoming post. We will process this free of charge on your behalf by placing it into alphabetised trays. External mail can be sent via a dedicated Post Office facility located within five minutes walk of our building.

Where can I park?
Unfortunately there is no on-site car parking facility. However, there is an NCP multi-story car park nearby on Woodhouse Lane.

How do I book a room?
We are able to offer a wide range of rooms for hire at Old Broadcasting House, ranging from small meetings rooms to a large expo area. To book a room please contact us who will be happy to assist you. Members are able to use these free of change for internal meetings, however we would charge for any commercial activity.

Do you offer refreshment services?
There is a free-vend tea and coffee machine in the café area. Chilled water is also available from dispensers on both floors. We request that you place your dirty cups and glasses downstairs for collection.

When can I access the building?
Old Broadcasting House is open from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM Monday to Friday. The reception desk is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Our shared area is secured at 5pm so that only members can access it.  Members may access the builing at weekends by prior arrangement with a small additional fee.

How can I access the coworking space itself?
The coworking space is available during the office opening hours. After 5:00 PM only coworkers have access using a key code.

What is the desk use policy?
All desks are hot-desks and cannot be pre-booked.

Where can I shower?
Showers are located on the first floor, and don't worry - they lock!

Where can I store my bike?
Multiple bike racks are available at the front of the building. There is also a bike shed with a capacity of six cycles towards the rear of the building, the key for which is available at reception.

Can I use the kitchen facilities?
The microwave and toaster can both be used downstairs, and there is a fridge for members on the first floor.

How do I cancel my membership?
Of course we don't like to see any of our members leave, but if you wish to do so you are required to provide one months notice. Please email your request to info@ntileeds.co.uk.
